Candy Campbell
Candy Campbell was born on February 12, 1983 to Paul and Robin Maxwell in Augusta, Georgia. She was raised in Augusta until her parents moved to Aiken, South Carolina at the age of 12.
Candy was saved at a young age while attending summer camp with her youth group. Candy attended Midland Valley High School where she excelled in Sports. She received a Scholarship to play basketball at North Greenville University where she met her husband Wesley. During her time in college Candy suffered a few knee injuries that forced her to have multiple surgeries and end her basketball career. She would go on to graduate in 2006 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management.
After college in May of 2006 Candy and Wesley were married and began their life together. In 2009 Candy found out that she was expecting. During this pregnancy God would reveal His strength and power to them both. After losing one pregnancy the doctors became concerned that multiple problems were taking place and advised Wesley and Candy to be prepared to lose another child. Candy began to pray and feel the Peace of God knowing that it would all be ok. In May of 2009 Candy and Wesley welcomed the miracle birth of their son, Eli Daniel Campbell.
During this time they were attending Westgate Free Will Baptist Church under Pastor Kevin Smith; Candy continued to grow in her faith and she began to feel the Lord's calling on her life to do more for Him. When Wesley answered the call to preach, Candy began singing and ministering to others through her music.
After moving to Lancaster, South Carolina Candy began to do all she could to see people find the joy of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She began singing more and started a Vacation Bible School program at the church, where they were blessed to see over 20 children come to know Christ. She became involved in the Women Active For Christ at the local and state levels. Candy has a heart to see women get help through Jesus Christ.
On February 4, 2013 Wesley and Candy welcomed the birth of their daughter, Blakely Faith Campbell. Candy is an anointed singer and a wonderful mother and wife who has the desire to see people saved and lives changed.
